Any catch can be SHINY (0.75% base chance). Shiny fish are worth 3.0x.
Lava Fishing
The Molten Reel enchant (tool level 225) lets you fish in lava, where Legendary, Mythical and Wicked fish are far more common. Volcanic Bite speeds up lava bites and Magma Rush boosts rare lava catches.
Fishing Hotspots
3 hotspots are active around the Lake at a time, each lasting 5 minutes. Fishing inside one gives +12% bite speed, +15% rare fish and +8% extra catch chance. Shiny hotspots give even more.
